The gradual Australasian invasion continues with the likes of The Naked and Famous, Tame Impala, Cassette Kids, Temper Trap, Gypsy and the Cat and The Middle East making waves over here in the last couple of years.



However, I'd like to wage than none will have the same success as Cloud Control. Perched somewhere between early REM, Yeasayer, Paul Simon and The Mama and Papas, they produce catchy radio friendly tunes. Full of warmth and spirit. Their debut album is one of the best you'll hear this year.
